Out of Hours

If you need medical help fast, but it isn’t a 999 emergency, you can call NHS 111.

NHS 111 will assess you, provide advice and direct you straight away to the local service that can help you best.

That could be A&E or an urgent care centre, an out of hours GP, community nurse, emergency dentist or a late night pharmacist.

NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and calls are free, including mobiles.

To access the NHS 111 service via textphone call 18001 111.

For immediate, life threatening emergencies, continue to call 999.

For more information visit www.nhs.uk/111
